When reviewing a series of photos, you may want to see something more than the images themselves. There is much more information to find, especially when it comes to digital photos. Hornil Photo Viewer places this information right in front of you, in a familiar environment. Besides viewing the pictures in your local folders, the software allows you to view their EXIF information and histograms, transform them, play slideshows and more.

Hornil Photo Viewer is free for home use, which means that you don't have to pay for a license if you wish to use it for non-commercial purposes. It can be installed in a few moments, without any kind of difficulties. The software doesn't have any special requirements and it does not use too many resources.

The user interface resembles a standard explorer window, but with more options. Apart from images, it doesn't display any other file types. You can browse through your local folders in a navigation pane, on the left side of the window and manage your image files in the central region, where you can switch between different view modes, just like in Windows Explorer.

Selecting a picture will display its preview, as well as its EXIF information and other details. You can also find histograms for the mono, red, green and blue channels. Furthermore, you can enable a color waveform in the histograms. If you want a closer look on your pictures, you can display them on the entire interface or play a slideshow in full screen mode.

Selected images can be rotated and flipped in any direction, just by clicking a few options, located on a toolbar. You can also create new folders and move image files from one place to another by clicking and dragging, just like in Windows Explorer. Another useful feature is the possibility of associating Hornil Photo Viewer with third party photo editors. As a result, you can load your pictures in any program, from Paint to Photoshop, with a single click.
